Youth Directors

We'd like to take this opportunity to say hello to the entire community that we will be working with.

Some of you we have met already but for those who haven't, my name is Rafael Joseph and my wife's name is Shira. We have recently been appointed as the Youth Directors for the Shul. I work in JFS School as a Jewish Studies teacher and my wife (now on maternity leave) is the Jewish Informal Educator for Hasmonean girls. Given the nature of our jobs, we are both extremely excited to have the opportunity to contribute to the Jewish future of your Shul.

We will be overseeing all ages with a particular interest in inspiring teenagers to get actively involved in a variety of programmes. We welcome any suggestions/questions that you may have, please email them to thejosephs@shulinthewood.com
