Youth Directors

Hi everyone!
We’d like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves to the community as the new Youth Directors. We are very excited by the opportunity to work within the community, especially after being made to feel so welcome when we stayed in St John’s Wood for Shabbat back in July.

So, a bit about us. Sara qualified from King’s College with a degree in neuroscience, a course she puts to good use in her job as an early years teacher at North West London Jewish Day School! Gideon did a similarly useless degree in aeronautical engineering and now works in business development for a specialist software firm. Our job here is simple: to provide a fun, fresh and inspiring Jewish environment for the wider youth of St John’s Wood.

We will be running various exciting social and educational events and plan on kicking off some Shabbat-based activities too. But we need to hear from the youth – WHAT DO YOU WANT?
