SJWS Young Jewish Network

St John's Wood Shul is home to a cosmopolitan, highly talented group of young professionals all around the world. They play a large and important part within our community and are led by our SJWS Young Jewish Network directors Shira and Rafael Joseph.

Shira and Rafael have been part of the SJW community for over 3 years (originally as the youth directors and more recently running the Young Jewish Network) arranging events both on a small scale and a much larger scale.

The past few months have seen Friday Night Dinners ranging from 80 - 180 people, Networking evenings, games nights, Shiurim, BBQ's and much much more. There is also a constant focus on Israel and Political Lectures within the Synagogue at which the YJN has a large presence.

Shira and Rafael also provide smaller Shabbat meals in their flat (which is on Shul premises to ensure you can't get lost) on an almost weekly basis. It's a more intimate way to meet people and also to taste some great home cooked Shabbat food.
