Shavuot Youth Programme

Hi,

We would like to remind all members of the community that we have a complete youth program running throughout Shavuot.

Firstly, we will be having our highly popular Youth Table at the Shavuot Family Dinner allowing the youth to sit together while you can sit with your friends. Please contact the Shul if you wish to book your family for the dinner. The dinner is on Tuesday 18th May, please contact the Shul for bookings.

During the meal, whilst the keynote speaker (Rabbi Tatz) is speaking, we will be running a Special Food Making Activity for all youth in the basement.

Then at 11:00pm following its huge popularity last year we will be having a Questions and Answer session with Rabbi Tatz exclusively for the youth. This will take place in the Succah. Remind your children to get there early as we ran out of seats last year.

At 12:00am we will be having a CHOCOLATE MIDNIGHT FEAST – Hot Chocolate, Melted Chocolate and other Chocolate goodies, need I say more?

This will be followed by optional all night learning with Rafi (looking at the 613 Mitzvot) or for those who are sitting the Jewish Studies GCSE exam, Shira will be going through the set texts from the exam.

All in all, we think you’ll find there is something for everyone – younger, older, girls & boys … and if a few adults want to indulge, come and see me and we’ll see what we can do!
