Ladies Guild

The Guild welcome all ladies regardless of age to join our friendly, sociable group. We help the synagogue in many ways by organising an annual supper quiz, decorating the succah, running welfare projects, arranging outings often with private talks to exhibitions and places of interest. We also organise Duplicate Bridge every Monday afternoon and regular bridge courses during the year. We have Conmmunal Lunches twice a month and a three course, home cooked meal is served. Drinks are at 12.15p.m. followed by lunch at 12.45pm. Card games, scrabble, chess are available to any guests wishing to stay after the lunch. The next lunches will be held on Wednesday, 6th July, Wednesday, 20th July, Wednesday, 3rd August and Wednesday, 17th August.

Information re advice centres, Jewish Care, and residential homes are also kept. Regular parties are held to celebrate Shavouth, Rosh Hashanah and Chanukah when entertainment is also provided.
