Please join us to hear the inspirational story of Holocaust Survivor, Harry Spiro, 88, born in Piotrkow Trybunalski Poland on 21st November 1929. Harry is a Holocaust survivor who will come and share his story of hope with us.   He will be introduced by Jessi Egerton.

Harry Spiro was eight years old when World War Two began in 1939. He was the only member of his family to survive the Holocaust.He was 14 when the war ended, which he says was like living "hell on earth" that "you couldn't do nothing about".I

Harry will share his story, and be introduced by one of our members, Jessi Egerton who is a member of St John's Wood Synagogue and a member of the Holocaust Memorial Trust, and has organised over 18 similar events.  We look forward to welcome you to this important event, to hear the testimony of a survivor and  what life was like during the holocaust and how he feels more than 70 years on.
