Do you have a little time to volunteer to help us? We are always looking for new people . Are you free to give us just a little of your time? This is a great way to get to know your fellow members. This page shows current Volunteer opportunities.
We like to have a member available on Shabbat to Meet and Greet people coming to shul and to indicate where they should go. Could you do this? Just 20 minutes every six weeks or so between 10.00am and 11.00am.
We also need a Meet and Greet Co-ordinator. Could you organise a rota of people to perform the above task? Training will be given. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
A very important task . We need more members to volunteer to keep us safe in Shul. Training will be given. Please contact our Security Officer David Marks at email@example.com
Help is wanted with seniors’ lunches held every fortnight usually on Tuesdays, with some preparation done on the Monday before each lunch. Can you lay tables, help with food preparation and serving or just come and chat to those who come for lunch? We need drivers to transport people to our lunches. Volunteers are needed to help regularly for most lunches or on an occasional basis, and particularly during school holidays. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org
This Committee is always looking for members who are prepared to visit the housebound on a regular basis or to make regular phone calls to some of our members. Training is given. Please contact Melody Salem at email@example.com
A rota of members prepare the Kiddusim on Shabbat when there is no catered Kiddush. We always need more members who are prepared to join this rota. This involves cutting cake, arranging the biscuits, decanting cucumber, olives, crisps and pretzels into bowls.
